This is one nice place to enjoy the Foo Chow dishes besides Sitiawan in West Malaysia. Very well renovate and the ambient is very cosy for dining and gathering. Highly recommended.

Had a great meal here for the first time. Not knowing that their specialty was Fuzhou cuisine, I didn't manage to order any Fuzhou dishes, but the dishes I did order were great. Two servings of white rice for me, which says a lot about the food quality and taste. I'm definitely going to return again for their Fuzhou dishes.

Foochow food @ Kota Kemuning area. My 2nd visit after the 1st is somewhere in February. Initially, when it opened there was a large crowd almost every day. Finally, get to try after the hype died down a little. They served authentic Foochow dishes. Overall, the food is good and tasty. Except for the red wine mee suah... it mentioned 2 - 3 pax servings but I find that the portion is too small, looks more like 1-2 pax servings. Overall good place to go and try Foochow dishes.

Hoping to get the same taste of Sitiawan without travelling there, my first visit for lunch was superb. The oyster omellete was perfection and so was the vegetables and stewed pork with mui choy. In fact I would go as far as to say it was a 5 star experience. Second time I went was for dinner and was to a more packed crowd. The food standard dropped suddenly which is strange because it was within a week. The Thai style lala prawns and squid had a strange smell, fish felt frozen, but the oyster omellete was okay. It might be a different crew, or different crowd, but the inconsistency means I'll take a few stars off until they sort out what I feel has a potential to be an excellent restaurant.

Lido C Food Kota Kemuning: A Taste of Sitiawan in KK Craving that classic sweet and sour crab, I decided to take a chance on Lido C Food's new Kota Kemuning outlet, having been a fan of their Sitiawan flagship. And I'm thrilled to report, it didn't disappoint! My takeaway order, centered around the much-anticipated sweet and sour crab, was a resounding success. The crab itself was cooked to perfection – succulent and bursting with flavor. The signature sweet and sour gravy, thick and rich, was as generous as I remembered, soaking beautifully into the accompanying fried buns. A truly satisfying and indulgent experience, just like the original. Alongside the crab, I also sampled their fried oyster. This dish was equally delightful, showcasing fresh oysters and a crispy, flavorful batter. A testament to their commitment to quality ingredients and skilled preparation. It's clear that Lido C Food has successfully brought the authentic flavors of Sitiawan to Kota Kemuning. The dishes were executed with the same care and attention to detail as their main branch, making it a reliable choice for those seeking genuine Fu Chow cuisine. My appetite is now piqued to explore more of their menu. I'm particularly eager to try their sweet and sour fish maw and the comforting red wine mee suah on future visits. If you're looking for a taste of authentic Fu Chow dishes in Kota Kemuning, Lido C Food is a must-try. Highly recommended! Update 18 Mar 2025 Recently, I revisited Lido C Food, drawn back by the irresistible allure of their signature Foo chow dish, the sweet and sour fish maw. It's a personal favorite, and I was eager to indulge once more. I opted for a "small" portion, expecting a manageable serving. However, what arrived was a remarkably generous plate, far exceeding my expectations. The sheer quantity was impressive, and while I thoroughly enjoyed every bite, I had to admit defeat and take the remainder home for dinner. As always, the sweet and sour fish maw was absolutely yummilicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced, with the tender fish maw bathed in a tangy, sweet sauce. It's a dish I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking a comforting and flavorful meal. While the price point at Lido C Food is noticeably higher than their original location in Sitiawan, the quality and, as I discovered, the portion sizes, justify the expense. You certainly get your money's worth. In summary, Lido C Food continues to deliver on its promise of delicious food. Be prepared for generous portions, especially with their signature dishes. While the price may be a tad more, the taste and overall experience make it a worthwhile treat.
